The following motion was passed by the World Service Conference on January 10, 2025: That the World Service Conference create a Policies and
Procedures Committee for the World Service Conference.
Since that time the Conference Policy & Procedures Committee has developed a Conference Service Manual, which was amended and passed by the World Service Conference on January 11, 2026. The intention is to update and amend the Conference Service Manual as policies and procedures for the World Service Conference and the A.R.T.S. service structure continue to develop.
The hope is that this Committee will continue to consider and make proposals to the World Service Conference policies and procedures to help it govern itself. Please email conference@artsanonymous.org for inquiries or to express interest in serving on the Conference Policies and Procedures Committee.
Article 6 of the A.R.T.S. Anonymous World Service Conference states (in part):
World Service Conference Organization: The WSC governs itself, although it collaborates with the Board of Trustees. The Conference chooses its election methods and rules for voting, such as percentage of votes required to pass resolutions.
Conference Committees: The Conference may choose to establish committees. Any A.R.T.S. member may serve on committees. Each committee may have a Board member serving as Board liaison. The committee will elect a member as committee chair.
